“The Pro Elite Flyers hit the floor last night in Alexander City for their first home exhibition game against The Birmingham Blitz. The Blitz jumped out early on The Flyers and was up by 15 points throughout the first quarter, but The Flyers fought hard to cut the lead within 2 points going into the second half. In the second half both teams exchanged baskets and kept the score within an 8-10 point gap, but The Flyers pulled away down the last 3 minute stretch to get The Win. Final Score was 117- 114
