The Pro Elite Flyers traveled 8 hours to take on the defending TRBL 2015 Champs – The Raleigh Revolt who took their 2016 season undefeated record(10-0) into today’s game against the visiting The Pro Elite Flyers who were 11-5 in league/ Non league play combined. As the Flyer’s warmed up before the game , Raleigh Revolts D.J. / hype man on the 1’s & 2’s taunted the Flyers by declaring over the Mic that “He predicted a 15-20 point victory in favor of The Revolt.” These two talented teams were ready to rumble." "Although Raleigh Revolt claimed that they were missing one or two of the key players despite hvaing a full bench – (Revolts- Jarred Grady was missing in action currently playing in Italy and Kyree Bethel) but added a few to put on an impressive showing. The Flyers only had 7 players make the trip and were missing ( 6’8 42

Demarcus Palmer, 4 combo Guards/ small fowards 2 Brandon Ashford & 15 Jajuan Franklin, But gave The Raleigh Revolt a hard time in the first half with “The talented back court duo of DeAnthony Hereford and Lazabian (LJ) Jackson set the tone to start the game as the poured in a combined 37 points in the first half. The Raleigh Revolt went to the locker room down by 20 at half 62 to 42 as The Flyer’s passed the D.J. booth on the way into the locker room as Raleigh’s gym/ Hype Man, fans, players & coaching staff had low morale leaving the gym for half time.” Raleigh played Star PG Brandon Hickson a few minutes in the first half, but he re injured his hamstring at the end of the first half causing him to remain on the bench for the 2nd half. A second half charge lead by The Revolts Charles Gambles 22pt explosion in the 3rd Quarter cut the deficit to 6 (79-73) along with several questionable calls by those officiating that went in Raleigh’s favor. The Revolt big men Daniel Jackson, Mal Jones and Charles Gamble were able to limit the Auburn interior game due to one of the Flyer’s big men
34 Louis Birdsong (who was one of the 1 Defenders @ George Mason) getting in early foul trouble. But the Revolt would not give up and continued to knock down some big 3 pt shots trading baskets with the flyer’s sharp shooter trio 24 Terrance Smith (Ole Miss sharp shooter) 00 Lazabian Jackson (Pine Bluff sharp shooter) & of course 7 DeAnthony Hereford (Faulkner University sharp shooter) who has had 3+ 50 pt games this season & who Raleigh started to double team in the 4th quarter. The Flyer’s gave up some points by missed free throws & the Revolt were quick to capitalize by hitting some Big free throws and 3’s by shooting guard Freddy Little helped Raleigh to take the lead late in the 4th Quarter.
“But the Revolt faltered with a couple of late minute turnovers and desperation fouls set the Flyers up to finish the game from the free throw line. Raleigh had a chance to tie the game up but missed 2 of 3 free throws with 3.8 seconds left in the game. Although The Flyer’s being up by 20 at the half & the Revolt fighting all the way back to within striking distance, "When the buzzer sounded The Pro Elite Flyers "came out on top & pulled out one of the biggest upsets of the season with a 2 point victory over the Revolt. The Revolt were handed their first loss of the season. The record falls to 10-1 as the Pro Elite Flyers improve to 12-5.
